#3200: deluge-gtk freezes when using the Open File/Folder
-----------------------------+------------------------------------
Reporter: veril | Owner:
Type: bug | Status: new
Priority: major | Milestone: needs verified
Component: GTK UI | Version: other (please specify)
Keywords: gui freeze open |
-----------------------------+------------------------------------
Same problem as closed ticket #2962
Had this with Ubuntu 16.04 and now 18.04. Everything is default with 18.04
(gnome3) but with 16.04 I was using XFCE.
Sometimes opening a file or folder from the Deluge file tab causes the GUI
to completely freeze. According to iftop download is ongoing so I assume
it's only the GUI that is dead.
Whether the freeze happens or not seems like complete chance, no pattern
that I could find. Sometimes it happens multiple times in a row sometimes
once in a dozen.
After the forced exit torrents which were being downloaded show as Error
and need to be force rechecked. After that everything seems to be ok.
